Kim brings over 30 years of experience in holistic health, Zen Shiatsu, and integrative wellness therapies. Her work blends hands-on bodywork, breathwork, and element-based healing to support physical alignment, emotional release, and deep nervous system regulation.

Kim Moore is the founder and heart behind Total Health Retreats—a space where whole-body healing, emotional balance, and inner clarity are nurtured with presence, skill, and deep respect for each person’s journey.

With more than 30 years of experience in natural health, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and integrative wellness therapies, Kim brings a rare blend of professional expertise, intuitive insight, and grounded compassion to every retreat she leads.

She is trained in:

Her greatest passion lies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which she weaves into each retreat through food therapy, elemental philosophy, somatic awareness, and practices designed to support organ health, emotional regulation, and energetic harmony.

A Path Shaped by Lived Experience

Kim’s work is deeply informed by her own healing journey. After facing a life-threatening illness early in life, she was called toward a natural, holistic way of living. Over the years, she has navigated profound seasons of change—motherhood, loss, trauma recovery, and personal transformation.

These experiences cultivated:

  • Deep empathy for others’ lived stories

  • An ability to hold grounded, non-judgmental space

Professional Experience Rooted in Service

For more than a decade, Kim worked at a leading Canadian health retreat centre, guiding guests through physical detoxification, emotional release, and sustainable lifestyle change. She also supported individuals navigating addiction recovery and mental health challenges at a wellness-based centre.

Her recent work with First Nations communities, including residential school survivors, further deepened her commitment to culturally sensitive, trauma-aware healing. These relationships profoundly shaped her understanding of resilience, respect, and the importance of safe, consent-based support.

Today, she brings all of this experience—clinical, energetic, and intuitive—to Total Health Retreats.
